Summary

Edisto 47 is a classic cantaloupe that is great for home gardens or market. The oval fruits grow between 3 to 5 pounds on vigorous vines. Cantaloupes are medium netted with deep salmon flesh and fine flavor. Edisto 47 will grow just about anywhere, however it does best in warmer and more humid climates. This variety exhibits improved disease resistance to downy mildew, powdery mildew, and alternaria.
