Boston Pickling is an old heirloom dating back to 1880. As the name suggests, these cucumbers are excellent for picking. They are good quality and very crisp. Pickling cucumbers are tender and tasty, with smaller seeds than regular cucumbers. As a matter of fact, Boston Pickling is the standard for homemade pickles. Vines produce heavy yields of 2 to 6 inch long green cucumbers.
