Summary
The Cubanelle is known as the Italian frying pepper. Cubanelle peppers are highly used in Cuba, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic. These peppers are comparable to bell peppers but sweeter and more flavorful. Peppers are 5 to 6 inches long and turn from yellow-green to orange to a dark red when mature. With its thin walls, the Cubanelle is the ideal pepper for frying.
