Summary

Jubilee watermelons were created in 1963 by the Florida Agricultural Experiement Station. These oblong watermelons have thick, light green rinds with dark green stripes. Flesh is firm and very sweet. They grow between 26 to 38 pounds and thrive in heat and humidity, making Jubilee an excellent choice for warmer climates. Jubilee Improved is the improved strain. These watermelons are now resistant to fusarium wilt and anthracnose.
