Summary

Moon & Stars watermelon was introduced in 1926. These heirloom watermelons are fun and unusual looking with their moon and stars pattern, hence the name. Dark green skin is dotted with small bright yellow spots, or stars, and half-dollar sized yellow spots, or moons. Even the leaves have the same yellow markings. Watermelons will average 25 to 30 pounds. In addition to its moon and stars pattern, these watermelons have ultra-sweet and succulent red flesh.
